Why an 8-Day Retreat?
On The Threshold is designed to help you slow down, catch your breath and relax. You will have time to deeply reflect on how the Lord has brought you to your current place in life, and how to find meaning and purpose, as you look forward to your next steps.
The flow of the program allows several days to look back, a mid-program pause on the threshold of the present, and several days focused on looking forward.
The retreat schedule is designed to provide a combination of restful tranquility, space for personal and group processing, enjoyment of natural beauty as well as delightful tastes of French table life.
What happens On the Threshold?
- Look back: Together, we will pause to intentionally look back at life experiences, allowing God to heal and reframe places of hurt and highlight important milestones.
- Process and share your journey: You will have time with trained debriefers who will listen and facilitate discoveries. Debriefing is not counseling nor coaching, but a time of reflecting on your life-in-ministry.
- Engage: Small group activities are designed to help process a look back. Doing so within a small group provides safe and relevant feedback and perspective.
- Build a broader landscape of your story: Processing past joys and sorrows, in light of God’s leadership in life, leads toward a renewed following of Jesus, the Good Shepherd, toward a hope-filled future.
- Look Ahead: After looking back, time is given to integrating your discoveries into the next steps of your life journey.

Couple: 1,850€
Registrations cancelled 2-weeks or more before the retreat will be reimbursed minus a 100€ administration fee per person.
