For over a year a group of us at Barnabas International worked creating a book entitled Tender Care. The purpose of the book was to investigate the Heart and Soul of Member Care. We quickly had to separate a lot of material which was valuable but not appropriate for our book. This collected material was placed in a resource list, or what we called a "Tool Box". Every working tender needs a tool box full of possibilities for a variety of situations.

The materials, articles, links, etc. included have been recommended to us by a variety of pastoral care/member care providers. We could work on this for months and never be totally satisfied that we have enough of the “right” material. In fact we are sure we have missing tools. But we do feel we have a good start and we are willing to add as recommendations are made.

We have not edited the materials, standardized the fonts or the writing styles. And we are not officially approving all of the material you read or might find via the links. If you find material that you think should not be included please be gracious to us and let us know. And we can add material as recommendations are made to us.

We have prayed that the Lord would use the book and this resource in your life and in your ministry as you serve the servants of our Jesus Christ.
