Barnabas International exists to serve the mission community. Each global servant, each agency and each Barnabas staff member is unique. We strive to offer our various ministries to the following groups of people:
Missionaries: Missionary life is a high and demanding calling. It is the desire of all the staff of Barnabas International to “refresh the hearts of the saints.” (Philemon 1:7)
MK and Family Services: Life for the MK (Missionary Kid) is full of exceptional opportunities AND challenges. In light of the uniqueness of the MK journey we provide ministries for MKs to embrace their past while building toward their future.
Mission Agencies: Barnabas International is ready to work together with you to provide spiritual encouragement and enrichment for your personnel.
National Church Leaders: In some countries missionary visas are not granted or are severely restricted. In those settings, Barnabas International is committed to minister to the unique needs of national pastors and leaders. Barnabas staff can come alongside to lead equipping and encouragement conferences/seminars to address the unique needs of national church leaders.
Pastoral Care Providers: In addition to providing pastoral care ministries, Barnabas International serves as a resource center for others committed to this same ministry. You may be a pastor for a mission agency, the mission pastor for a local congregation, an itinerant pastoral care provider, a retreat center, counselor, a member of a church’s Missions board, etc. Each year we offer training to these servants through our PTM Conference.
Leader Care Network
Barnabas International strives to further the spiritual vitality of mission leaders. The mission of our Leader Care Network is to help sustain missionary leaders and their families with developmental care, transformational coaching and teaching, and strategic resources. Our long term vision is to strengthen international leaders, who will be catalysts in their organizations and in multiplying national movements for Christ among the unreached, thus discipling the nations.
